What is expected of the Queen of P.I.N.K.?

Queen of P.I.N.K. Job Description

The Queen of P.I.N.K., most importantly, must be a breast cancer survivor/fighter and actively promote breast cancer awareness throughout her community.

She will be selected from a group of contestants who meet the requirements set by the Queen of P.I.N.K. Board of Directors. The woman selected must reflect the qualities and attributes necessary to successfully carry out her duties as a role model in her community and may be called upon to attend various events. She must possess leadership capabilities, communicate effectively both verbally and written, be talented, intelligent and energetic. She must be physically attractive and inwardly beautiful. She comes in all shapes, sizes and colors.

The Queen of P.I.N.K. will serve as a program ambassador and public relations representative for the Queen of P.I.N.K. Pageant. She may be asked to speak at civic and charitable functions about herself and the Queen of P.I.N.K Program. She may also be asked to perform for fundraisers, charities, schools, churches, etc. However, it will ultimately be her decision whether or not she decides to make public appearances as a titleholder.She must be personally organized and self-disciplined. In addition, she may be required to have reliable transportation to travel to her desired destinations.

In summary, the Queen of P.I.N.K. must truly want the job, be qualified and willing to do the job, and be cooperative in the performance of her job.
